Colour network laser sought (duplex?)

[link to this post]

A friend is seeking a replacement printer and is considering going for a relatively inexpensive colour laser. Wants it networked, wireless or cable, wireless would give more flexibility re location, duplex would be nice but probably not necessary.

Any thoughts?

erm..... £233 does not fall within my range of "inexpensive"

I don't know what the OP's view on that price would be. crazy

Colour, laser, and duplex.

edit:

I've got an earlier version of this one (the 310) and it's a good printer, but Amazon seem to be having a problem with it atm.

Firstly he said relatively inexpensive...

and secondly "relatively" in terms of networked colour laser printers, £233 IS cheap!

Now the toner cartridges for these things, are anything BUT cheap! But that applies to pretty much any laser printer.

No it isn't, it's quite pricey.

But it's pretty good for duplex.

I've been using a Xerox Phaser 6125N for a while. Low usage but no problems at all with it.
Looks like it has been replaced by the 6010N now.

£170 for the toner packs but plenty of compatible packs around for the 6125N e.g. here.
