Anybody know if the Plantronics selector-box that enables one to connect pc spkrs, headphones, mic, and select between them, also mute at press of button, all complete with a thumbwheel for volume control; it is not a true toggle --- if this can still be bought? I have failed to locate a vendor. It uses 3.5mm jacks and is silver
I paid retail £5 in 2002. It is called a "Media Hub" on its outside & though the device is not marked Plantronics the packaging I still have is Plantronics.......
It is not to be confused with Plantronics headphone/spkrs rocker-switch that I also have on my other pc & which lacks volume control. That also uses 3.5mm jacks and is black
Alternatively how can I lower the volume level (by thumbwheel) on my tv's stereo headphones? Is there an in-line stereo doodah that can be inserted which will control volume? My Creative HQ1300 headphones on my pc have an in-line thumbwheel volume control but are off the market. My Philips HP800 lack same. Am searching for a solution to variable volume reduction
