Secondary hard disk came back with a bad sector today that seatools could not recover. Drive has 4 partitions of which errors seem to be in the first logical drive. Did a 2% erase with seatools and drive is now accessible again. Am using Partition find and mount to get remaining data off onto other drives. It's a seagate drive 500 gb I bought as a pair. C drive has passed long test so assuming thats ok. After I get the data off should I full wipe then do a long test to see if the unrecoverable bad sectors have been remapped? Slow going getting the data tho could be at this all night.
