Aggressive Link Power Management

Been having some problems with my corsair SSD just vanishing, not physically, but according to the computer it is not there.

All can be going well and then windows just stop, I reset and the corsair is not in the list of drives, until i switch off the computer and restart, then I have to go into the UEFI/bios to change it back to boot from corsair.

I noticed a option in the UEFI that says Aggressive Link Power Management, I did a bit of a search for it and only found out via Linux sites that it is a form of power management that puts the drive to sleep, i wonder if that is the problem and it gets confused with SSD units.

Anyway I have changed Aggressive Link Power Management to disabled and now lets see what happens.

Will keep you informed as it could be useful for someone else.

i said I would report back. No problems at all now, so it was the aggressive link power management.

Ok, so that was not the problem. I have now updated the firmware on the corsair drive and the computer have been on all day and so far it is fine.
