Sorry to jump in.
I have same problem with a Dell Inspiron 1545, after a couple of years the battery wouldn’t charge, went and bought a new battery to no avail, came to the conclusion it is the battery charging circuit or the power pack. So now I just use it plugged in the mains. Not worth spending money to repair the battery charging circuit even if that were possible for a chaep laptop, but would like to know what else I could have done at the time.
Just run CPUID HWMonitor and got these results;
