What does iPAD 3 U.S version mean in ebay??

I am interested in buying a new iPAD 3, without 3/4G but with 16GB memory, from ebay. However I kept on reading the sellers mentioning U.S version. So what exactly the differences between non-US and US versions of iPAD 3?? I could imagine that the US version will have non-13Amp power plug but what else may be differences?? Would the graphics may be differences because of EU standards??

No the are the same, other than the power supply will be American.

However, buy from ebay with caution. If it seems to good to be true, it probably is.

From recent readings, I got the impression that the Apple's iPAD 3 3/4G, particularly the US version, may require "different bands of the spectrum" to that of what required in the UK, i.e. incompatible to the current Orange/T-mobiles EE 4G requirements.

That's true but you specifically said you didn't want 3G/4G !!

Correct, the 4G ipad 3 doesn't support the 1800Mhz band therefore 4G isn't mentioned on the apple ipad pages on the UK site.

The iPhone 5 added support for the 1800Mhz range so it can do 4G from EE and 3. The other networks 4G won't be in the 1800 Mhz range and so will never support the iPhone 5.
