I am getting a new monitor soon as i am still using a monitor not capable of HD and i've just got a new GPU so want to play games in HD quality with better resolutions, anyways my question is, my GPU connector seems to be the same as this in the link https://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&site=imghp&tbm... but the new monitor seems to be this connector https://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&site=imghp&tbm... what cable do i need for this, i am guessing a cable with both ends on each side, or would i need an adapter?.

A DVI-D cable should work ok.

If you look at this picture, my monitor connection will be the second one up from the bottom, but my graphics connection is the bottom one.

You have DVI-D and a DVI-I interfaces. Both will work with a DVI-D cable, and the connection will be digital only.
Edited to DVI-D cable.

Won't the pins on the DVI-I cable get in the way of the DVI-D which has no pin holes?.

One of the interfaces is digital only.

Yes, my mistake. I hate this aspect of technology. half a dozen flavours when one will work. roll on USB or HDMI only.

If you look at this, you will see i've explained it better, you might know what cable i will need then.

Yes. Assuming both cable ends are male, a cable with ends matching the second-top fitting will fit both of the interfaces you have. The four analogue pins of the DVI-I gfx card won't be needed.
