PCI tuner card to connect to dual input satellite LNB?

Hello

After having a lot of issues with a Samsung freesat box I bought (rebooting, sometimes not recording stuff) I've thought about building a small media centre PC (running either Windows or Linux) to do the job instead.

I'm trying to find a PCI card that I could use with a satellite dish pointed at Astra/Eurobird to receive the standard freesat stuff and would also like recommendations on any software that would provide the EPG/DVR functionality.

Virgin (ADSL) => Namesco => Newnet => O2 => Plusnet => Zen => Newnet => Zen => Freeola => Vivaciti (using O2 Wholesale DSL) => Xilo (C&W Wholesale) => Xilo (O2 Wholesale)
Router: Billion 7800N

There's a few on ebay

Most seem to be pci-e and not pci though.. Something to perhaps consider when you're specing up your media centre.

amazon, ebuyer, dabs etc will probably have them too.

Have you considered a USB dongle to perform the receiver function?

XBMC covers a lot of the HTPC bases, but I'm not sure where it is on PVR functions

For EPG etc, what about tvheadend?
