Saw this in my Event Viewer Log from 11/12/2014

I was on the PC at the time and didnt notice any errors/freezes/crashes etc and no errors since this one. So could it have just been a firmware crash/bug that fixed itself?

Continue to look for this error in the event log. It could have been a 1 off, or it is the northbridge starting to fail. In your case the issue was detected & corrected. It may be in the future this issue is not corrected and the PC reboots.

Cheers. Not sure what the northbride is. Google seems to suggest its a control chip on the cpu
