Laptop ram question

Will a 128mb 144pin SDRAM fit in a EDO ram slot ?

Nope! Completely different form factor.

I looked at that link but thats for desktop ram, these are both 144pin sodimm packages, the only problem I can see is timing with 32mb ram already on board which will be edo. Edo 128 modules are 40 quid but sdram is only 14 quid, anyway seller is checking it out.

There's plenty of EDO memory sticks available on eBay for very little money.
