Hey you guys!

"I have a 500GB HDD"

and wanted to know, could I also say

"I have a 500GiB HDD"

500GB is approx 465GiB

However, you 500GB (nominal) capacity drive may not be 500GB - it could be 495GB or 520GB and if it reaches 537GB you could then claim to have 500GiB
