power supply

Hi people just a quick question .Just bought a hp omen 880 013na pc and was wondering about the 300w psu and is it ok to run the system safely.The pc has i7 7700, radeon rx580 3gb,,16gb ram and a optical drive. now I know its a hp checked system but to me power supply seems a bit weedy and just a bit concerned it might go belly up. Any advice would be great

Returns about 325W load, with minimum recommended of 375W. Personally, given a 3-5 year life expectancy, and potential heat as the years roll on, I'd go 450W. That at least allows for other add-ons, such as USB stuff, extra fans, and so on.

Yeah it's what I thought. Don't know why a big company like HP would be frugal with psu. luckily have a evga 600w spare so might just fit that.
