UPS Buzzing

I have had a small 350w APC UPS connected to my PC for quite a few years now. Had no issues with it.

I wanted to connect my Virgin Media Hub 3 to is as well as my PC so if there is a power issue I can still get online using my phone.

But, When I connect the power adaptor for the hub to the UPS it starts to buzz and quit loudly to.

It still powers anything connected to it. Is there something wrong with it? Or is there just something about how the power adaptor for the hub works that the UPS is not liking?


I am going to have a dig about and see if I can find another adaptor that is 12V 2.5A that I can try and see if it does the same.
