UPS

I have just had a UPS installed in my house/office. It currently has around 6.5kWh of battery and should soon upgrade to 10 kWh. Fully capable of providing 3kW for 2 hours - so it should keep the ONT, Router, Switch, WAPs, cameras, alarm &c running for a while. The battery pack will be around 90kg!


The solar install has an inverter with an additional "back-up" output - runs as usual when there is grid power but when the grid drops the batteries will supply that one output only - so I need to just rewire the comms room ring onto that and I will be sorted!
