Yeah, I've been there a couple of times. It's a good time for increasing the contents of the swear-box frown

(Which is one reason I don't have one tongue )

Nice to know about VueScan though, I liked it. In the (not particularly likely) event that I buy a scanner then a comparison with whatever software comes with it might be interesting!


That is a shame, still if you want a basic scanner they are pretty cheap. I must admit, paying out for Vuescan for a machine that is years old was a bit worrying in that I may be wasting money. Someone that posts on here told me to get rid of the scanner when I updated to Window 10 as I was having problems with it. I hate dumping things if there is nothing wrong with them
