If you have 3 fans in a case then it is likely only 1 will fail at a time and that one can be quickly swapped out. It depends to some extent on how critical the device is. Also, if it is running 24x7 then that puts more strain on the components and could mean a failure happens whilst you are not monitoring (using) the device.

Good points. The main point of the excersize was to be aware what is fitted and how. I now have that information from Novatech and can quickly order any failing parts.

You'd be much better replacing the whole PC as Tiny has already said. Even if those fans fail, unless its the CPU fan, I still wouldn't bother replacing it.

That's not a bad price but no 5.25" bays for my Blu-Ray drive and only 16Gb RAM. Tbh I want to keep my current one ticking as long as possible.

The fan on the top of my pc case I think is on its way out, I have a few in a box I can use, not that important really.
