DDU question

I am getting another Asus GTX1660 Super OC to replace my current same model as the fans are a bit rattly. Do I need to run Geeks3D driver uninstaller in safe mode in Windows 11. Wise move or unecessary?

You shouldn't need to..

Have you taken the shroud off and cleaned the fans ?

I only DDU betwen amd to nvidia etc .. Or between serries so from 20x to 30x etc.

That's my next job - have blown with air duster but will wait til spare gets here and test. It's just at high fan speeds the fans rattle.

try and not use air dusters to clean electronics......... use cotton pads and isopropyl alcohol

Well the Asus TUF arrived. Being the exact same model I didn't expect any problems - except that when fitted it must be a little fatter than the other one and the fan was catching the card in the third slot so had to remove the card. Must be batch variation. Also Asus Tweak III wouldn't load and needed to be reinstalled.
