Hello,
I'm trying to open up port 22 for sshing into my home PC. I have set this up in the past using port forwarding with different ISPs. I have tried this with Hyperoptic and it doesn't work according to Hyperoptic because of the Carrier Grade Nat. My understanding (from this reddit post) is that all I need to do in order to ssh using ipv6 is to open up the port to my computer on the router's firewall. The problem I am having now is that I'm not sure how to open up the port on my router. I also even tried temporarily moving my PC to the DMZ and I still get "Network is unreachable" error when trying to ssh and ping my pc using ipv6 from outside the network.
I have tested ssh from inside my network using the ipv6 address and it works. I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to ipv6, and firewalls. Any ideas what to try next?
Thanks!
