Mines been red for a while

BT is reporting that some of the virtual paths at this exchange are not operating within BT Wholesale\'s planning guidance, although they are still operating within the product specification.

At busy times, your ADSL connection may operate at a reduced speed, although not all customers on your exchange may be affected. You should only contact support if there is no current ETA date set.

Yes, mine has had a series of reds since mid September. Then the latest fix date went by with no change of status, only a new fix date of 8 November.
This must be the effect of the mass marketing of broadband!
Then the voice lines will cram with people trying to get through to support in Bangalore and we can feel smug.

Snap! ..... almost

Red on 4th Sep, Green on 11th Sep, then Red again ... was meant to be fixed last Saturday (28th Oct) but the checkers haven't been updated yet ... so I don't know if it went ahead as planned ...

There are a *lot* of exchanges currently on red at the moment. Hardly surprising since a lot of people are switching to ADSLMax.
