It may be related to the latest batch of 21CN downgrades (I refuse to call them "upgrades". They aren't).
One of my clients had a leased line down for hours: "a problem at the exchange" according to BT, but looking at Samknows BT have enabled their exchange for WBC on the same day...

Can you explain please? You are on Sky? Who got the email from Miriam, you or 'your mate'? Can't 'your mate' deal with things him or herself? What does anyone else who has a problem do, contact you? Surely the problem could be resolved by 'your mate' simply contacting IDNet and not sensationally you taking up the cudgels on his or her behalf.

Are you a disgruntled ex IDNet customer?

Don't know you from Adam, but your post leaves a lot of questions unanswered to someone who has not followed your previous problems.

Could you please enlighten us to what has gone before and answer the questions posed.

Nor I you...

Wingco asked a question and got an answer which satisfied him. Who's cudgels are you wielding?

billford

I am more than happy with you disagreeing with my post and siding with wingco1, that is open and fair.

I am not so happy with you as a moderator, for that is what you are, ignoring the poor language and gutter tone offered by wingo1 in his or her reply. As a moderator you are in a positive position and should, firstly, be completely impartial and not take sides on a public forum.

If you wish to air your views on a public forum then they should be made as a non moderator or you weaken your position as an impartial moderator. You are the referee not a player.

You have made no comment whatsoever on the poor tone and gutter language presented by wingco1 which I feel are completely and totally unacceptable on a public forum even disguised with the use of asterisks etc.

You cannot have two roles, moderator or contributor. Make up your mind what you want to be, a moderator or have an impartial input to threads as a non moderator.

Oh yes I can... you should be able to tell the mode in which I'm posting without any difficulty.
