Thinking of moving to IDNet!

[link to this post]

Hi there smile

I'm thinking of moving to IDNet and their Home Supermax, but just have a few questions I couldn't find the answer to on their site!

- Are IDNet a reseller for Enta/MurphX/OBit etc?

- The offpeak times, is that midnight till 9am every day or are weekends classed as offpeak too?

Thanks in advance,
Dan

IDNet is most definitely NOT a reseller for Entanet or anyone else. (unless someone's been keeping secrets)

Off peak is midnight to 0900 every day, 7 days a week.

You get what you pay for and you get a good service from IDNet,

Adrian

We're not a reseller of anyone else's services, apart from BT Wholesale that is. (Though we do supply quite a few resellers, mostly suppliers of corporate Telco services).

As Adrian says: the peak/off-peak periods run through 7 days.

Any hope that one day you'll do LLU and use different network providers? BT is really holding back from doing proper upgrades to normal up-to-date fibre based telecom services in our town.

I'm afraid that we don't currently have any plans to go down the LLU route.

In the meantime you could consider upgrading to ADSL Max? I see that you're still on the old Home 2000 service (residential-grade fixed-rate 2Mbps). With your low attenuation you might well see higher speeds (in excess of 6Mbps) with ADSL Max.

Simon
