However on Friday evening, everything was awfully slow. The router was in sync at 160kbps with a noise margin of 31.5dB.
A reboot gave a sync of about 3200kbps with noise margin of 12dB, but with an IP Profile of 135kbps. The sync has again been stable for 24hrs, but the IP Profile has remained at 135kbps. Kitz excellent site says with a change of sync of over 250% it should reset in 4hrs, but after 28 hrs no sign of change.
Realistically how long do I have to wait for the IP Profile and default SNR to reset? I suspect that I will be calling support on Monday.
I am also somewhat miffed by the BT speedtester, in that when there is a speed problem it reduces the acceptable speed down to your current speed!
Download speedachieved during the test was - 105 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 50-250 Kbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :3520 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 135 Kbps
