Went down around 2235. Came back when I rebooted my router (not the HG612).

Did you get a Cloudflare error? If so, see TTTS.

Did you get a Cloudflare error? If so, see TTTS. Didn't get anything other than a complete loss of service. I'd just posted a reply to another forum, saw a typo so clicked edit and that was that. Couldn't get anywhere except my router.

No problems on our BTw backhaul connection here

Yup, but came back on its own for me, and only lasted a couple of minutes. I wasn't at the computer at the time, only noticed it when I came back to an error page on the browser tab I'd left open. Zen backhaul.
@Bob- nothing to do with the Cloudflare issue, this was 20 minutes or so later.
eta- not sure about the "again" in the topic title, first time it's happened to me for months as far as I remember.

Nothing here either, but I had a similar outage (PPPoE drops but connection remains up and similar time and duration) a few weeks ago. In my case it was the same for some Zen customers and it seems Zen are upgrading kit around that time and knocking people offline without any warning or acknowledgment of it on their service status pages. A reason why I'd prefer not be wholesaled with Zen via IDNet, might just as well saved the cash and gone direct with Zen for the same service.

I am on Zen and PPOE dropped at about the same time. It came back on it's own a few minutes later. It interupted my Netflix viewing.

eta- not sure about the "again" in the topic title, first time it's happened to me for months as far as I remember. I had two similar issues either last week or the week before. If it is Zen then couldn't they find a better time to do it, like the early hours? Although in this case it appears it might not have helped since my router needed to be rebooted.

Exactly, doing it at that time, and not announcing it or explaining it on their status pages (not that I can see anywhere on Zen's status lists) shows some contempt for their customers (both their own and those they wholesale to). It's been going on for a couple of months at least and always around the same time.
When it happened to me it was just before I was going to retire for the night but as I needed my connection for work the next day, when it went down I had to start troubleshooting straight away in case I needed to raise a ticket ASAP. If I had an email saying planned maintenance it would have saved some messing about.
Might be worth raising it with IDNet as to why nothing is shown on their status page, but of course they will not have known either!

No issues for me
idnet fttp 330/50
the issues a month or so ago around 11-4am in the morning, i had a reply from idnet
"A line card has failed on cr2.th-lon, one of our core routers. Some customers lost connectivity while traffic re-routed but this is not currently affecting service but we are operating at reduced resiliency and monitoring our network for any potential capacity issues"
