Ouch for latency this PM

My Broadband Ping

Seems to have settled back down now but I noticed that my single threaded speed test is a bit poor at the moment - ~60Mb/s when the multithreaded is ~68Mb/s.

Surely that's World Cup fever? Never noticed it having an impact on previous occasions.

I also seem to be on a [censored] gateway at the moment so that might be a factor.

I'm on FTTC on a BTw backhaul.

Mine is only showing degradation in line with use today.

Almost certainly World Cup, but have a look through this thread and see if you can make sense of it .

Like jaydub I didn't see anything I wasn't expecting, but I was hammering it a bit at the time in question so now I'm not sure

Yep this looks identical to my ping graph. Also IDnet FTTC. Coincides purely with the football timings.
