I'm in the midlands I ping between 3/4ms on UK Counter-strike servers. I'm using a City fibre 900mb Connection though. Don't know how much of a difference FTTC will be.

city fibre Idnetter here, 550/550 service FTTH
536/536 ping 3ms on AA Librespeed

If you are in a City Fibre area, then I would jump.

Yes I can fully recommend - OR IDNet user based in the South West: ~6ms to BBC, ~7ms to TBB.

Fantastic, consistent throughput on multi-threaded downloads (~976Mbps Down, ~115-120Mbps Up).

The only 'issue' I've encountered is massive packetloss when the connection is maxed out (Far more than our 80Mbps FTTC service for comparison). I suspect this is a result of overloading physical 1Gbps interfaces, not IDNet.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
AOL (1997-2004): ~33.6-56Kbps
Telewest (2004-2006): 256Kbps -> 512Kbps
University of Portsmouth (2013 - 2014) - Supposedly 100/100Mbps
Virgin Media (2014 - 2021): ~1150/53Mbps (MikroTik RB4011iGS)
BT (2006 - Present): 8128/448 -> 22494/1211 -> 80Mbps FTTC (MikroTik hEX)
IDNet (2024 - Present): 900/115Mbps FTTP (MikroTik RB4011iGS)
