Well done on the start date mate, I've also been given cabler role and start in 3 weeks so looking forward to it.
Cabling is quite a physical role which mainly involves laying the fibre cables and getting it ready for it all to then be connected, you generally work in teams of 2 or 3.

Hi Bikerchick or anyone who can help. I passed the AC in February 2019 and am listed as passed but no post, did they ring you with a start date or was it by email? Thanks

Thanks for your reply bud, 3 days that was quick !! What area are you from ? I've been chatting to an engineer down our way (centre of Norfolk) and he was saying there is a group of them from the midlands trying to cover the work load in Norfolk, yet there is no vacancies in my area ?? Well done to you anyway, nice to know you have a date 👍🏻

I know they are right at the end of recruitment for this year but if you passed AC in February I'm quite surprised you've not heard anything since. I'd email the recruitment team and just chase it up as I know of engineers from your area getting offers over the last couple of months.
