I had one today in Cardiff, dont feel I did well in the interview but ok in practical. On the English I had level 1 reading and 3 on something else. It's just a waiting game now.

I just feel I didnít do aswell on my maths and English
I got mainly level 1 and some 2s
I asked the chap who did our presentation if that was good and he said he canít say but off the record that they was good!
I just didnít feel confident leaving the building

Ye i dont think they look into the Maths and English too much, I didn't get to finish Maths, I was moved on to the English. Its the interview you need to pass I think. I managed to finish practical just on time

I finished the English in 20 mins in hindsight I should have maybe took longer but felt I had done ok, maths was 30 mins and luckily I have a teenage son who has done some of this recently and could recall what to do.
Our practical was wiring a telephone socket, fitting some clips and wiring up into a box
What was yours?
I was lucky with my interviews as they asked questions I had done some prep work on and was very relevant to my current job

In reply to a post by Leenicko:
If level 2 is gcse what is level 1?
Higher or lower?
I only ask as my boys Grammer school the power the level the higher grade

In fact yes you're right. The new system has level 1 as highest. I quoted the old system.

So depends what system they're using!
