What is the skills test? Iíve heard some people saying itís wiring a simple plug but others saying itís telephone sockets and other things. Is it stripping wires too and wiring it from scratch?

It's telephone sockets, i won't say too much but you are coached through it and there is an example to follow aswell, you're told what tools to use etc so you won't be stuck

Hey folks! I applied for a trainee engineer vacancy post in Inverness on 2nd of April. I received a invitation for a video interview about 20 minutes later. I completed my video interview on Saturday 13th April.

I received an today email saying my application is progressing to the next stage to be considered against other applicants for an assessment centre. Does this mean I passed the video interview? Is this normal or would you usually just get offered an assessment centre date?

Thank you.
