Passed Assessment question.

I passed my assessment on 10/12.

Got an email a couple days later saying I'd passed and unfortunately there weren't any specific roles available to me. But they were announcing new roles this month.

Is this normal? How much longer am I looking to wait? And why would they give me a place at assessment if they didn't have a role available?
