Lost Season 5 HD on iTunes

[link to this post]

I've only just noticed. This is the 1st HD show on iTunes UK i think? We watched the last season on iTunes so I bought a season pass for this one.

Disappointing download speeds though, 3 sessions are coming in at 9Mbps so i ran a quick speedtest check on this site to see how much I had left and there's another 10Mbps unused which means it's not my ISP dictating the speed. The HD files are 1.4GB and SD 611MB.

I find that, even at "quiet" times, downloads from iTunes are only about 1/4 to 1/2 of what my ISP can do on other sites... Apple need more servers

Umm recently it's been like that for me too. I just popped out and left the downloads running - the SD files have disappeared. I remember reading about this on the US store, thought it was fixed though.

Same for me as well. I got some iTunes vouchers for xmas and the speed of downloading things was, at best, disappointing.

Strange thing is, it wasn't a gradual thing but a sudden one so perhaps Apple had to limit the bandwidth or something.
