Still no sign of a decent DSLR camera with built-in geotagging and now Apple thrusts Places in my face, oh the tease. So it had to be done, i could not resist and found myself in a gadget shop buying the
Sony GPS-CSK, cheapest consumer device I could find. Having spent the remainder of the day running about taking unnecessary pictures and checking the Sony is still flashing once per 2 seconds and not twice (it doesn't like trees or narrow streets), I now have plenty of pin points in iPhoto '09 - a different way to view
. At the moment Aperture is still restricted to the Metadata option, Show on Map.
