It's surprising actually that Apple didn't include the Dictionary that comes as standard in the OS as a default Ap for the iPod Touch/iPhone.

I was wondering which of the Twitter clients to grab - have you kicked any of the others around?

I tried the Twitterific App but changed it to Twitterfon after a friend (a prolific twitterer) told me about the latter. I only use it to read tweets mainly so I couldn't say how 'good' it is. The beauty is though, that it's free.

There's plenty of games, etc. in the apps store, I've got Bejewled 2, Monopoly, Spore, Crash Card and MotoChaser. These range for 59p to £4.99.

10 quid for an instant messenger client?!? The most I've paid is for a colour expert utility and that was only about £4.

Yeah, I'm probably a little nuts. Unlike the others IM clients available, Beejive actually stays logged on even after you've closed the application. The messages are stored on their servers then delivered once you open the application again. IM+/Fring, etc. are all good if you want basic stuff. Beejive also gives you the ability to send photos and voice messages to your buddies.

I have a total of four screens including the Apple ones.
Some are there because they might come in handy one day.
Some were impulse buys and have had very little/no use after the initial sequence: Installation - Wow - Why?

The ones I use regularly:

Tweetie - Free - but I'll have a look at TwitterFon now.
Sudoku Unlimited - £1.79. Handy in waiting rooms
Light - Free, Not sure it's still there, it was Erica Sadun's first app. Useful for finding stuff in dark corners; peering at the back of a PC under a desk; dealing with power cuts ...

Nimbuzz- free messaging client AND does voice Skype on wifi better than Fring, very little echo.

Air Mouse (£3.50) but worth it gives you a wireless trackpad/keyboard on the phone for your computer especially good if pc linked into TV
