Guys - having speed tester problems frown

John Hunt wants to know what Java version I have

How do I find out ?

I would guess:

Applications => Utilities => System Profiler => Software/Applications, scroll down to the Java entries.

Mine says 12.2.0 if it helps...

Hmmm - that's very different

John Hunt suggested Terminal which gave me

java version "1.5.0_16"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_16-b06-284)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_16-133, mixed mode, sharing)

Yes me opened terminal !!

We are trying to find out why I get occasional TBB speedtests giving me over 10meg when immediately after wards other Tests give me 9+

In comparison with the Windows versions, the 1.5 version number sounds more reasonable.

I didn't think of Terminal crazy

We are trying to find out...

If you go to Applications > Utilities > Java > Java Preferences, preferred Java versions are listed in order, the topmost being the one it'll use by default.
