M-Audio Keystation 61es

I posted questions about this in early February. Bosie and gilesjuk were kind enough to give me info and the confidence to order it up.

This piece of kit arrived a wee while ago, but was unwrapped today as a birthday present for my wife. I thought I'd post to say how pleased she is with it and how pleased I am to have been able to find out enough about it in advance.

Too true! Keeping it hidden was a nerve-wracking project in itself.

One thing to consider is a trip to an Apple store as they often have keyboards and pro kit sitting about. Can see reactions prior to purchase
