BBC Radio Downloads

[link to this post]

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00k2q8s/The_Re...
was an excellent 45 minute programme.
I would like to have a 'permanent' copy for personal use, but cannot see how to do it.
The BBC offers
"However, you can still listen to almost all radio programmes on BBC iPlayer as audio streams, which can be played up to seven days after the programme's original broadcast."
But what about after 7 days?
I suppose one stone age method would be to use a tape recorder to capture the audio from speakers, but this is crude for 2009.
What other methods are available?
In case it is relevant, I have access to OS 10.2.8 & 10.3.9, which seem to be excluded from the latest BBC iPlayer Desktop, according to the following quote.
"What do I need to get BBC iPlayer Desktop?
Mac OS X 10.4.11 or Mac OS X 10.5.4 and 10.5.5 "
Any ideas?

Wire Tap Studio also claims to record sound from any sound source on your Mac. I got it as part of the latest MacHeist bundle. I'll see if ti can record Listen Again later today.

Audio Hijack Pro is outstanding. Set it to capture Firefox, stream the audio, hit record. Need the full version to record more than 10 mins.

I also have Wiretap, but haven't used it yet (ditto via Macheist), although I rate Ambrosia Software highly so imagine it will work fine.

Ah, you may need to track down a slightly older version - didn't see your system limits.
