Replacement Internal Hard Disk

[link to this post]

It has been suggested to me that rather than buying a new external hard drive that I just replace the internal drive in the case I have now. I'm upgrading my Mac so I'll have the additional hard disk space temporarily. Any recommendations of which internal hard drive would be suitable for a 250 GB LaCie Hard Drive?

Thanks

Depends on the mode of case. Usually an older La Cie unit with that capacity will be IDE, but nothing is certain unless you check it out. Be warned some La Cie cases are a cow to disassemble without damage.
