User name and password for parallels vista

I have a bootcamp partition with windows vista on it, i use this partition to run vista through parallels, every time i want to start my virtual machine i need to type my admin user name and password in twice, before it will start to load windows, and need to type it in once before it will shutdown, is this normal with parallels using the bootcamp partition, if not any one got any ideas what i need to do to stop it.

If you have a Bootcamp partition, why are you bothering to run Vista in Parallels? The whole point of Bootcamp is to allow you to run things like Vista as though your Mac is just a PC. You only need Parallels if you want to run Windows and Mac OS X simultaneously, in which case you don't need Bootcamp.

Or am I missing something?

There are times when I run XP in Parallels because I am switching back and forth, or quickly need to access a windows app, but there are others when I want XP running via Boot Camp because of the vastly improved graphics and performance.

What does puzzle me is why anyone would run Vista in Parallels. It's a bit like trying to steer a cow through a sea of treacle. It's far better to run XP or the WIndows 7 beta.

The reason i run a bootcamp and a parallels version is as Desmond said, the reason i run vista instead of XP is because my version of windows XP was ancient, and didn't have sp2 included tried slipstreaming but couldn't get it to work, and i found a cheaper legal version of vista than i would have had to pay for XP, it seemed like a good idea at the time.
