Fun replacing iBook hard drive!

It only took about 2 1/2 hours of very careful disassembly (and reassembly!), but my ancient iBook G3 now has a 'whopping' 60gb hard drive! Pics too!

How many screws were left over?

Ok, ok. Two screws were left over because part of the optical drive surround broke where a strengthening bar fits across but it's working fine without it and you would never know otherwise - except that I just told you. I have no idea how it broke off either as I was really careful during the whole procedure.

Congrats & respect, I swear my glasses prescription shot up after I did 7 of those a couple of years ago.

It's possible I'll be replacing the hard-drive in a friends iBook soon, so I'll be getting my eyes checked soon after...
