Hi Guesty,

Whenever I need tech support, I just call the Apple store on 0800 048 0408 and go through the menus for support.
Lots cheaper than the 0844 number wink

Hope this helps. laugh

Nothing to see here.. Move along, please

Excellent! Thank you!!

I'm actually just off the phone to Apple. The guy spoke with an Italian accent and did not listen when I kindly tried to interrupt him lol.

The guy was very helpful but he did get a little annoying as he re-iterated everything he had already said 3 or 4 times previously and that I had already repeated back to him. It's the first time I had spoken to anyone at Apple with a foreign accent. He was still very helpful and many thanks to him.

I definitely like the service from Apple. They are to be commended. I am only sorry that I recently spent around £xxx doing up my old system, I would have preferred to have bought an Apple mac for my bedroom.

Lesson learned, my next small PC will be a MacBook - Guaranteed.

Or, if you're calling from a mobile - call an Apple Store and choose the option for Support and then you'll be put through to AppleCare as normal smile

Hi again Guesty,

If you're looking for a MBP, or any Mac, for that matter, I'd strongly advise you to check out Apple's refurb store - They tend to test their hardware more thoroughly than the macs you'd get in the retail outlets, as they are usually customer returns, etc. Plus, you tend to save a bit on the final price, too. smile

If you're thinking about getting a MBP or similar, I would strongly advise you to look into the Apple Protection Plan

Hope this info helps. laugh
