A Wee Bit Excellent!

[link to this post]

My Mother brought over her digital video cam to see if I could put the video onto DVD.

I got my blank DVD's out and copied / pasted all of the MOVs and Jpegs onto the blank disk[s]. I said that I could get the videos to auto-play on a DVD Player, and it would just take me a short while to set it up to do on the Laptop.

Anyway, after a nice wee visit from my Mother letting me know how her holiday went, I checked out the iDVD How-To's. I could've kicked myself - HOW BLINKING EASY IS THAT to do!! D'UH! crazy

All I had to do was plug in the Digital Camera, click a button or two with a blank disk in, and HEY PRESTO!! HOW DUMB DID I FEEL?!? Please don't answer that straight away!

I am majorly impressed with what this MBP can do and, it does it so professionally too. Wow.

I don't really know if this is really appropriate for me to say in like a, a family forum, but would it be completely wrong for me to, propose to my MacBook Pro? Well, is it?! You would all be invited (of course!), but NOT to the Honeymoon, ok?

i'm a Switcher, and lovin' it - Woohoo! wink

*cough*, Ahem, I didn't mean to drool onto the Apple forum. I'll, mop it up straight away..

*wipes copy of "PlayMac" and places it back onto store shelf. blush

I think the problem now is people want to author blu-ray and Apple (or Jobs at least) just don't like blu-ray.

Dead? Interesting concept. Wonder why Tescos/Sainsburys, Amazon, Play are selling quite a lot then.

Got a couple of Blu-Ray disk myself. They are good, but the potential hasn't yet been fully realised.

BD games could be far better too.

Yes, but the companies could put a lot more into it.

It's coming...
Panasonic has announced the market introduction of the DMR-BS850 and DMR-BS750 Blu-ray Disc Recorders
They've been pushing them on TV adverts recently.
