Static Routes

Probably a long shot here, but does anyone know how to make a set of static routes persistent?
Basically I have a virtual network running on my MBP, and with that I have a tap0 interface setup that allows my MBP to talk to the virtual network.
Then only issue it that when I restart the network, the routes disappear, so when I want to use it, I need to re-add the routes which takes a while along with setting the tap0 interface back up with the correct IP address.
