slow internet in ipad

I have a 64GB iPad without 3G.

I have been having problems with my iPad in that as soon as i updated it to iOS4 the brwosing on it is slow to nonexistent. I have restored it to factory settings twice without any luck. I am using it through the same connection as my laptops and an iPhone.

Any ideas?

What WIFI router are you using?

This is a known problem and there has been much discussion about it on various forums. Have a look through this very long thread from the Apple forums and see if anyone has any advice to offer.

I had the same problem changing the wifi channel seemed to help - although it could have just been coincidence.

Make sure you have your DNS settings set on the iPad, that help speed mine up significantly.
