YES!! And the video is PERFECT!! The rear facing cam is good, but the face cam & the quality of the incoming vid is outstanding. Impressive.
The audio incoming is a bit low, but the OP can hear me very well and clear.
The use of an earpiece would sort this.
This is what the iPhone is best at - FREE video calls on Skype!! SUPERB!!
I'm on O2 so don't have to worry about data usage. Skype video isn't much anyway.
There is no 3G here exactly, but i DO use Wi-Fi at home. Skype in any room in the house, and all without my MBP.
Hmmm, nice!
Well done Apple & Skype (seperately).
If you don't have one, get one - the iPhone 4 RULES now. I s'pose.
NB: And even though the signal can go lower, it HASN'T dropped any calls (video or otherwise). I only wish they'd make a better case - the 3GS one was excellent, but it doesn't fit the iPhone 4 G. It's my ONLY qualm with it now, and I still check any time I go by <any> phone-[s] shop.

Hello, thanks for your post. But I have a question, it may be silly. But for those who like to talk to delightful females from across the pond, such as myself, the conversation can drag on a bit, perhaps for over an hour. Is it most becoming to hold one's arm up to one's face as I assume one has to in order for them to see you for such a long period of time?

Hmmm, my iPhone4 on O2 is limited to 500MB/month; how do you managed to not have to worry about going over it?

It is NOT cross - I was only slightly[/] cross-dressing when I accidentally kicked my bed?

Fair point, and an easy one to answer - you can sit with your phone on a table, facing you - give me an example of a situation that causes a problem?

|

Are you on a contract?

A situation? I do not know, I've never used such a device. I was just curious I just talk to people on skype the old fashioned way.

When I use wifi in my home, I use my UNLIMITED Be connection, ergo not touching any of the PAYG credit. Easy.
When I'm in a mall, I use the Cloud 3G/wifi - No limits reached or breached.

It works beautifully well - you'll love it.

Alright, cheers for the heads up. Just one thing. May I borrow (scrap that, have), £500 to cover the cost of purchase?

. I only wish they'd make a better case - the 3GS one was excellent, but it doesn't fit the iPhone 4 G. It's my ONLY qualm with it now, and I still check any time I go by <any> phone-[s] shop.
Have a look HERE
I use it for out and about. I have dropped the phone a couple of times, once onto the tarmac. It does protect the phone without a shadow of a doubt, and IMHO doesn't detract too much from the "Pose" value of the kit. I think it looks good and does the phone justice.
It's a bit pricey and the mfrs have modified the corner nearest to the main lens due to complaints of obstruction, but I haven't had any problems with my pre-modified one.
I have NO connection with the manufacturers or retailers.

Thanks very muchly for that one, it looks way better than the one that I ordered from Amazon. That one of yours looks classier, and I will stick this thread on as a Favourite. It's a thought for my next one. I prefer functionality first though.
Tvm for that.

I may look at that case that you linked too - I got an email earlier reminding me of my new case, due to be delivered soon - and noticed, with much trepidation, that the aluminium lining of said case might hamper the signal strength even more.
Time will tell.

You'll probably get it next day, and they have a good returns policy, so you won't lose much by just looking at it.

Haven't even opened the aluminium lined case yet. Had a feeling that it would affect the reception.
Thanks for that post link. It looks like a better solution.
