MUGS - Mac User Groups - there are quite few in the UK - does any one go to them.

Here are a few of their web sites

I went to one in the early 90's in London, (in the time of System 8, IIRC) but not since.

I used to attend the Northern Ireland mac user group but I fear it's been disbanded.
They were very useful in the early days of the internet as there wasn't as much information as there is now and we watched a few of the webcasts of Apple events.
