Microsoft Word for iPad free

I see Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint for iPhone, iPad apps are now free downloads

Not pointless for me because I have Excel on my iMac and Windows laptop but not Numbers so a free Excel gives me a spreadsheet that I can share between all of my systems and mobile devices.
