I downloaded a game called zen pinball, I know this is going to be a long shot, but I may as well give it a go.
It gives two free tables, and then you buy other tables or packs of them. But when ever I try to I get the message you need to go online and when i click ok, nothing happens. So the pinball game don't think I am online.
I turned off the VPN, L changed the firewall to allow the game though, I even took the ethernet cable out and used Wi-fi, still the same.
Any Ideas?
Cheers.

Do you have Private Relay enabled?
Settings>>Apple ID>>iCloud>>under iCloud+
Or maybe Stealth Mode
Settings>>Network>>Firewall>>Options

Private relay is only for Icloud+ and is turned off and so is Stealth mode,
Thanks anyway

That game is as old as the hills, seriously. There’s a good chance it’s not been updated in a very long while, hence the glitch

Private relay is only for Icloud+ Only available if you have iCloud+ (many people pay the 79p for additional space). Private Relay itself only works in Safari to protect browsing, it doesn't impact other applications. (Mac, iPhone or iPad).

I know the game itself is old, as I had it on the PS3, but the version in the app store is 2 years old, and it says compatible with my Mac mini. i may haver a look at Pinball Fx instead for the PC, once i can get it running correctly again

I thought private reply was only for Icloud+, I don't use cloud storage I pay for iCloud+ specifically for Private Relay as I'm often connected to untrusted wifi in hotels and customer sites. Its pretty good for protecting your Safari browsing.
Many people don't back up their iOS devices to a computer (Mac or Windows), so being able to back up automatically when charging overnight is a good protection against theft or breaking and losing photos or worse notes with important details in.

If you read their forums there are plenty of people with problems getting the app to do what they want.

Fair enough, you find a use for it, I have a VPN and my Mac is a Mac min, so it doesn't go on strange networks i don't have a IOS device.
Any photos on my phone is backed up to the NAs and anything special is backed up to a drive that is kept out of the building, but i don't really use my phone for taking any special.

Yes, I have seen, looks like I will have to have a look at Pinball FX on my PC, If I could afford it I would buy a proper pinball machine, not that I have anywhere to put it.
