I have a 3 mobile broadband modem on 3 (Contract) and I can not send emails via my domain name. (Fasthosts)
Anyone got any ideas?

Yes, you either have to configure your e-mail client to use 3's SMTP Server (I can't remember what that is) or use your current providers SMTP Server on an alternative port to Port 25, such as 366 submission port).
3 recently changed this without warning.

From three.co.uk:
If you are unable to send email when connected to 3 Mobile Broadband, you should change the Server Port to 587.

This didn't work for me. I am using Microsoft outlook for a tiscali email address on a 3 Mobile Broadband connection. I have tried port settings 25,336,465 & 587, not to much happens.

As port 25 is blocked, you need to contact your e-mail providor and ask for an alternative port to 25.

It's ok incoming and outgoing using "smtp.tools.sky.com" for outgoing on port 465 on a 3 and 02 dongle

If it's only for a few days then could you make do with your webmail interface?

Hi
3 Do not allow the use of port 25 for outgoing mail to protect you, I changed this to port 26 and it works

I have just had the same port problem and tried several alternatives until I found that port no. 587 was the only one I could get working in Outlook for both wifi and 3 Mobile Broadband..
