Anyone got this working on 64 bit machine?
TIA

I bought this dongle and the packaging says it will work with Windows 7 but my laptop says not compatiable, the company seems not to care and no software update can I find [email protected]

Yes, it works on my windows 7 64 bit - BUT ... if I close down the computer, on startup I have to completely uninstall 3, restart the machine again and re-install - then it works, If I only hibernate the computer without removing the dongle it will work. If I remove the dongle I have, hibernation or no hibernation, I always have to uninstall, restart the machine and then install again - what sort of system is this!!!!

I had this problem, what happens is windows 7 automatically installs driver, this prevents the software from running and causes the dongle to be not found.
Open device manager, expand usb devices, the last entry should show the dongle. Right click & un-install.
Remove the dongle.
Re-boot.
Wait until all programs have loaded.
Insert dongle & wait until the green light shows (it does not go Blue as per the literature)
If the software does not load, open file manager, click on the 3 drive & double click Autorun.
The software should now run & install the drivers.

On a Win 7 installation (32/64bit), if the ZTE modem part of the ZTE MF112 refuses to appear and only a CD drive with the 3 installer appears it is necessary to do a manual install. I learnt this trick from older Linux installs. Current Linux versions have an easy install wizard which works for any network in the world using Network Manager in KDE or Gnome
OK for Win 7:
1) Eject the 3 CD drive and you should then get another drive appear which is the micro SD card in the MF112.
2) This will also reveal the modem part. Go to Control Panel > Control Panel Items >Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Device Manager and if the ZTE modem is not installed or not showing a problem installing icon, scan for new devices.
3) Now selecting the modem, if it is showing a problem icon, you should be able to automantically search for a driver. A driver "ZTE proprietry USB Modem" should be installed.
4) Create a dial up connection from the Network and Sharing control panel using this modem. Use *99# as the dial up number and "three" for both username and password to connect to the Three network.
5) Wait for the connection to complete and the firewall dialogue to appear where it should be configured to be a public network ie not trusted.
You are now connected and you can use this dial up connection to connect without using the silly "Three" Java app.
Each time you plug in the MF112 you will need to eject the dongle CD drive using the tray hardware icon before the modem becomes accessible. The Three app also needs this to connect to the modem. Enjoy!
