This time I put the Three MiFi up against the Novatel MiFi 2352 (Europe) on O2. Same location - Covent Garden WC2H. Both results are very respectable. I bought the Novatel from Handtec.
the o2 forum rules prohibit sales links but that was harsh. And the mods have had a bashing about spam links recently perhaps they are getting tougher now.
I would re register and lodge a complaint with one of the site admins like abs@o2
adamtemp64 on o2 I saw the post there and then it was gone.

Thanks for the suggestion I'll try that. I was just trying to be informative for anyone who might be looking for a better modem than the one O2 supply. I always find it frustrating when I read about products with no link to the source.
Looks like my new login works now - I was careful not to mention where I bought the device this time so hopefully O2 mods will leave me alone?!? Nobody responded to twitter or email though.
