Windows 8 compatible dongles!

Just got a windows 8 laptop, please can anyone inform me of which dongles will work with windows 8? Was looking at buying the Huawei E3131 or Huawei E367. Any help would be appreciated.

I would expect anything new in retail to be Win 8 compatible as a result of Microsoft dominance. Check the small print on the box or on the web site of the retailer.

Windows 8 (actually Windows 6.2) has lots of backward compatibility legacy features so even something designed for Windows 7 (actually 6.1) is very likely to work.

I decided to avoid all the issues with driver compatibility after problems with Win7 and dongles and now use MiFi. Much more flexible, works with any wifi enabled device and doesn't need any special drivers at all.

But as Three has already said that 3connect needs to be updated if you are having problems with win8.

So there are still compatability problems with 8 eve though they use the same driver model as vista and 7 it isn't just as simple in quite a few cases.
